Working with Schools, Colleges and Youth Groups
Frontline Fife works with Secondary Schools, community based groups and the local College to help prevent young people from becoming homeless. Our Leaving Home Education programme equips young people with essential skills and knowledge for leaving home and independent living.
We can provide a comprehensive progamme or tailored sessions to compliment wider learning frameworks.
Themes young people explore include:
- Reasons for leaving home & realities of living independently
- Independent living skills
- Budgeting
- Housing options
- Rights and responsibilities of being a tenant
- Homelessness awareness
- Lease terms and conditions
- Tips for flat hunting
