Another Success for Frontline Fife!
For the second time running, Frontline Fife’s Housing Advice Team achieved accreditation from the Scottish Government’s National Standards for Information and Advice Providers at the highest standard for Housing.
These Standards are designed to help advice agencies maintain their service quality and encourage them to adopt a culture of continuous improvement.
Frontline Fife provide a range of services to support people facing homelessness and work to SNSIAP and other quality standards to ensure those using the services are confident in the advice and support provided. The charity’s services are offered throughout the year and holiday season. At this time of year, many people across our communities could be at risk of homelessness so early advice and support can often overcome eviction or escalation of issues which may lead to housing insecurity.
Ruth Young, Lead for Homeless Prevention, commented;
“I am delighted that our Housing Advice Team has again been recognised for the quality of work they deliver. The accreditation process is rigorous, so for a small dedicated team it was a mammoth task. We submitted over 190 pieces of evidence for the audit and 12 cases for peer review. I am extremely proud of the team and would like to thank them for their efforts.”
